General Tips & Tricks
- Upon creating a new player for the first time, you may choose between two difficulty modes: Casual and Challenge. Casual mode features a tutorial, as well as faster hint and skip recharge. Challenge mode features no tutorial and a slower hint and skip recharge.
- Objects listed in red at the bottom of your screen are hidden either in or behind something. You will need to perform an additional action to uncover these items. These items are circled in red in the guide below.
- Objects listed in blue at the bottom of your screen are tasks you will need to complete. These objects are outlined in blue in the guide below.
- Special objects known as Halloween Items will appear in silhouette form inside a pumpkin at the bottom left corner of your screen. Locate these to earn Items Bonus Points. These objects are circled in purple in the guide below.
- Each hidden object area contains Gold Pumpkins. Locate these to earn Bonus Coins to spend on Halloween Gifts. Gold Pumpkins are circled in golden yellow in the guide below.
- You can access the Halloween Store during any hidden object scene or puzzle by clicking on the shopping cart icon at the top of the screen. Coins you’ve saved up will be stored here, allowing you to purchase various Halloween Gifts. You can view the Halloween Gifts you’ve purchased at any time by clicking the pumpkin icon to the right of the Halloween Store.
- Click on the pumpkin icon with the trophy silhouette in the lower right corner of your screen to view your trophies and achievements.
- There are two types of Hints in Halloween: Trick or Treat 2- Hints, and Mega Hints. Hints will reveal the location of a single object, while Mega Hints will briefly show the location of any and all items you haven’t found yet. Both require time to recharge after use.
- Puzzles you encounter may be skipped after a certain amount of time has passed.
- Hidden object areas may be replayed at any time by selecting them at the top of the screen, or opting to replay them once you’ve completed the area.
