General Tips & Tricks
– Using the Options you can adjust the volume of the music and sound effects. You can also decide if you want to play in windowed or full screen mode, use the custom cursor or regular cursor or stretch the game screen or not.
– On the map you can see your progress. It will show which levels you have completed and which are left. The spot with the large red X on it marks the level you are currently on.
Wild West Chase – Tips Map
– If you have trouble finding a hidden object, you can get hints by clicking on the Sheriff Badge button next to the tray that contains the list of objects to search for. A hint will point you to an object that you have not yet found. Once you have used a hint, the button will recharge over time. The badge will fill up as it recharges and after it is completely silver again, you can use it to receive another hint.
– In a Hidden Object Scene you can return to the Main Menu by clicking on the Menu button at the top of the screen. Choose the option you want or continue the scene by resuming.
– Some levels require you to form Chains of the same object. In order to make a chain, you will need to link at least three chips. The goal of these levels is to remove the chips with the wood-colored background from the board by using the object pictured on that chip as part of a chain. Chains are completed by clicking on a chip and holding it while you add more. Once the chain is done, release the mouse button to finish it.
– Most levels limit the number of moves you have to clear the board of the chips with the wood-colored background. The number of moves left can be seen at the top of the screen.
– When forming a Chain, try to use as many chips as you can in it. The more chips used, the more points you will earn and if long enough, these will eventually reward you with Power-Ups. These can be used to remove several chips from an area at once by adding it to the end of the chain.
– By completing levels you will earn funds. The points earn equal the amount of Money you will have available to purchase items from the Shop. The Shop is accessed from the map.
– In the Shop, helpful items are for sale. You can purchase and upgrade Power-Ups that will help you complete the levels.
– The Tomahawk power-up will remove an entire row of chips from the board. Use it by clicking on any tile you want.
– The Lamp destroys a random 3 x 3 area of chips.
– The Rifle removes 10 random chips from the board.
– The TNT destroys half the chips on the board.
